3 Reasons A lot of Spiritual Workers, Empaths, Earth Angels Struggle Financially?

Let’s Talk About It. So many spiritual healers find themselves in financial struggle, and I believe there’s a deeper reason why. It’s not because we lack talent, passion, or purpose. It’s because most healers are givers. Let’s be real—how many of us found our calling through over-giving, over-extending, or pouring into others without boundaries? It’s in our nature to help, to heal, to show up.

But here’s where we often get it wrong: we forget to receive.

The heart chakra is the center of giving and receiving. When we over-give without balance, we unconsciously signal to the universe, “I don’t need to receive.” And guess what? The universe listens. But here’s the truth: it’s okay to receive. It’s okay to charge for your gifts. It’s okay to value your time, your energy, and your expertise. The universe and our ancestors want us to take care of ourselves. We are the ones here, doing the work in the physical. And taking care of ourselves isn’t selfish—it’s essential.
Another layer? Many of us carry trauma around money. We’ve seen greed and corruption. We reject consumerism. We’ve told ourselves we are always gonna be broke, or that money doesn’t matter. But money is simply a tool. It protects us, supports us, and allows us to live fully in this world. There’s no shame in being financially secure.
Here’s one more truth: as healers, part of our work is building community. That flow of giving and receiving doesn’t just happen—it’s cultivated. You create it by fostering a safe space where your people feel seen and supported. Whether it’s through volunteering your time, starting groups, or hosting gatherings, building a community is a way to nurture reciprocal energy. When you give, they give. It creates a beautiful cycle of abundance that flows naturally.
For me, reframing my relationship with money and embracing the importance of community were key. I had to let go of old beliefs and start seeing money as a partner, not a burden. If this resonates with you, here are a few books that helped me shift my mindset:
📚 Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker
📚 Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
📚 Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
Remember this: you’re worthy of abundance. You’re worthy of being cared for, just as much as you care for others. Build your community. Nurture your flow. And let abundance find you.
